Idun Agent Platform packages an already-built LangGraph or Google ADK agent graph into a deployable production service without requiring teams to build their own wrapper around it. After installing the engine package, a small YAML config points at the agent's graph definition and a CLI starts a single FastAPI process bundling three components: an engine SDK providing an app factory, MCP registry, observability, and guardrails; a standalone package providing the CLI, admin REST API, and chat/admin/traces web UIs; and Pydantic-based config schemas. The platform wires in several operational concerns typically built by hand: observability integrations (Langfuse, Arize Phoenix, LangSmith, GCP Trace and Logging, usable simultaneously), input/output guardrails powered by Guardrails AI (PII detection, toxicity, ban lists, topic restriction, bias, NSFW, and more), MCP tool governance letting an admin register MCP servers over stdio, SSE, streamable HTTP, or WebSocket and control which tools each agent may call, memory and conversation persistence across PostgreSQL, SQLite, in-memory, or Vertex AI/ADK-database backends, and Jinja2-templated prompt versioning that can be reassigned per agent from the admin UI without redeploying code. Every agent also gets a standards-based streaming API compatible with CopilotKit clients and a built-in chat playground, and configuration reloads live from the admin REST API rather than requiring a restart. It targets teams who have already built an agent with LangGraph or Google ADK and want to run it in production on their own infrastructure, as a self-hosted alternative to SaaS options, without assembling the surrounding observability, guardrail, and admin tooling themselves.
