mosoo is a self-hostable runtime for operating coding agents as backend services rather than as interactive tools. It provides a Cloudflare-native control plane that configures an agent together with its skills, MCP servers and model provider, publishes it as a versioned agent, and then exposes it through an API a trusted backend can call. Three agent implementations are normalized behind one runtime protocol: OpenAI Codex, the Claude Agent SDK and OpenCode. The Agent API covers starting, following, continuing, stopping, archiving and deleting agent work. Execution happens in isolated sandboxes, from which responses and tool activity stream back to the caller, permission requests are surfaced for handling, work can be cancelled, and diagnostics are inspectable. Threads, runs, events and managed files persist across individual executions, so a conversation and its working files survive between calls instead of being rebuilt each time. Observability covers run status, replayable activity, diagnostics and usage estimates; the project is explicit that this is operational visibility rather than a compliance audit trail or a provider bill. The intended user is a developer embedding a coding agent into a product or automation who does not want to build and operate a separate agent runtime, sandbox service, session store, file pipeline and API for every integration; the application's own backend keeps ownership of product behaviour and end-user access. The stack is TypeScript on Cloudflare Workers with D1 for storage, developed with bun and just, and it can run locally against a Docker-compatible daemon for the sandbox flows. A hosted console exists alongside the self-hosted path. The project is in alpha: the runtime and API surfaces are shipped and covered by tests, but public APIs and behaviour may still change and production reliability is not yet proven.
